For Chicagoans (And Fans Of Old Style)...
Any dive bar that's worth a damn in Chicago has an Old Style sign out front. I found a fun Flickr group dedicated to all things Old Style. This is the Chicago I know and love:
I was about to ask, "What's Old Style?" but it's pretty clear it's a beer. And before you rage for my ignorance, please note that I live in Canada. Old Style is probably something we could use to wash out the beer bottles before we pour real beer into them. Zing!
Johnson: As a fan of Canadian beer, I won't argue with you. Old Style is more a sentimental favorite. It brings back memories of covert underage drinking in friends' basements and the dives as seen in the slideshow. It's cheap, but not completely disgusting.
Johnson, shame on you. Old Style was a hugely popular beer in BC in the 60's, made by Carling. It was bought by Molson some time ago, and is now marketed as Molson Pilsner
Owned by Molson, eh? Well, I've learned something today. However, I do live in Ontario and I was born in '81 so that may explain why I don't remember. And I know we don't have Molson Pilsner at the beer store, because I definitely would have bought anything with a box that cool.
Some Guy, I get your nostalgia re: sneaking around. That's how I feel about pot. Ha.
Frankly, I drank the stuff so religiously I'm surprised I remember it myself. I should have known it wasn't in Ontario when the pic I found was a 15-pack of cans and not a two-four.

Did Some Guy mention beer?
Happy Birthday Chris!
Ahh, Old Style. I used to drink that back when it was called NewFangled!
