Last post: January 9, 2010Much of Wonderturtle's (of "In Her Shell") story is the same as Hapabukbuk's. I haven't seen her around in a long time, either. I think I discovered her through one of Megan's links. They were both school teachers and had similar stories to tell. This is one of the reasons I like Google Reader so much. In case she does decide to start posting again, I won't miss it. She always wrote very thoughtful, well-written posts.

I too was an early fan of WT. Have met her in person too. She rocks. And she has vowed never again to work as a professional bridesmaid.
I tried to meet her once along with her pal Hapabukbuk in NYC but they couldn't make it which was too bad. I love her wit and thoughtful posts and hope she resurfaces too.
She is a real life friend of mine, so it is possible that you found her on my blog, although she is the one who introduced me to Megan's blog, so it is possible you also found her there. As CP says, she has vowed never to work again as a bridesmaid, however she did chose to work as a bride a few weeks ago, when she married Seth, who used to blog as something like AmstelSled (although that is not quite right and I am too lazy to go look for the correct name.)
