My grandmas' were Shirley and Ann.

I think your list is pretty good, though. One day my name will be a grandma name, and maybe those will be young people names.

My grandmothers' names were Gladys and Opal. I never met Opal-- she was killed in an auto accident when my father was a teenager. His stepmother Alva was my subsititute grandmother.

BTW, Gladys was married to Freeman.

Dads mom was Gladys, and Moms mom was Grace. Both classic grandma names!

Makes me wonder what Tiffany with the lower back tattoo will look like in the home about 60 years from now.

I had a grandmother Marjorie.

You just reminded me of this great poem I read once that lamented the loss of names like these. It was awesome. I think I saved it somewhere.

You know, Mexican girls frequently have old lady names. I have had students named Edith, Eunice, Doris, and Alma.

Weird, huh?

Krista's Grandmother was named "Millicent." But everybody called her "Millie." I thought it was a pretty good name for a grandmother.

My mother's name is on your list. One of my sister's middle names should be on the list. Yikes. I can't even say them out loud.
