I saw that the other day. It didn't make me feel any younger on my birthday to hear that Carlin was 70 the next day.
He truly is a national treasure. I loved his old stuff, but I think I like his newer stuff even better-- the way he explores language and how we use language to avoid real communication, rather than actually communicating.
