I really don't think Kari Michaelson's character, Katie, added very much to the "Gimme A Break" ensemble.Sure, you could argue that she provided sex appeal, but with the likes of Nell Carter AND Dolph Sweet already on board, was she really necessary?

There was always something vaguely racist about that show, but I can't put my finger on it.

She was just OK... But when I was a young lad, Kristy McNichol as Buddy on Family made my pants tight.
