Last night I watched "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid" for the very first time. What a flick! First, the photography is beautiful. It's funny, but not over-the-top funny. Bacharach's music seems a little odd at first, but I liked it overall. Paul Newman has got to be one of the coolest mother-fuckers of all time. He and Redford make a hell of a team. Now I have to see "The Sting". I've never seen it, either. I have problems...

Steer clear of "The Sting II."
Oh, now...I enjoyed The Sting 2 immensely. 'Course I had a crush on Mac Davis at the time. It probably blinded me to the movie's flaws.
On topic: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is not one of my favorite movies, but Doc likes it. Maybe it's a guy thing...
Grant- Will do.
Flannery- I was thinking as I was watching it, this is a MAN's film. Not that women can't like it, but it cetainly has a masculine appeal.
I've never seen either of those. And I really should, because Paul Newman is just hot.
Both Butch and The Sting are musts!

The next time I say, "let's go somewhere like Bolivia," let's go somewhere like Bolivia!

The Sting is better than Butch Cassiday...in my opinion.
How very sad that you've spent these years on earth without having seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I first saw it in the theaters during its original release, and was enthralled. What a fantastic movie; definitely in my top fifty.
"Why you crazy -- the fall'll probably kill you!"
The anachronistic music drives me crazy, but still one of my favorite buddy movies of all time.
You will like The Sting as well.
