In a recent POST, Frank reminisced about family roadtrips and Stuckey's. He mentioned the lure of the telltale turquoise roof. This is a Stuckey's Megan and I stopped at in Indiana on our way back from Virginia. Do you think they've gone commie? What's with the red roof?
The staple of any Stuckey's, the pecan log, had also been replaced with some ill-conceived "borscht log" and the bathroom door said "comrades" rather than men's. I fear for the worst...

I blame recent gun-control legislation passed in Indiana.
I thought they were always red.
I used to lurrve to go to Stuckeys and get ice cream. I didn't pay attention to the color of the roof.
You forgot to mention the plethora of native american dreamcatchers available at this particular Stuckey's.
Haven't we allowed Indiana to succeed from the union yet?
What's taking so fucking long?
It's proven that the colors Red and Yellow activate hunger in the brain.
Look at all the fast food joints.. McD's, burger King, Wendy's... all similar colors.
Howard Johnson's had the turquise roof; I think Stuckey's was always red.
The tri-state region does not have any Stuckey's restaurants.
What, are we not GOOD ENOUGH???
