Important Announcement...

Even in my remote neck of the woods, we have a Home Depot and a Lowe's. In fact, they are pretty much right next to each other. From now on, I'm buying my shit at Lowe's. This is because Lowe's has said they will no longer advertise on The O'Reilly Factor. Home Depot is unwilling to take this step and is, in fact, a huge Dubya donor.

I'm not going to tell you what to do, but stop shopping at Home Depot and go to Lowe's instead. I'm sure they're evil in some other way, but at least they don't fund O'Reilly, lying-ass prick that he is.

My ex worked for Home Depot for a while, and their management does their level best to make it impossible for their "sales associates" to get their work done (inventory, stocking, etc.) and also assist customers. Ever wonder why you can never get any help at Home Depot? It's because they won't pay to put more people on the floor.

Also, a friend of mine, who basically completely remodeled her entire condo, and has the world's largest power tool collection, and can build amazing furniture, applied for a job there, and was made a cashier. Turns out they've been sued numerous times over the years for never letting women work the more profitable floor positions no matter how much experience they have.

So by all means to your boycott I will add my own HELL YES.

I do LOVE Lowe's......

and they have way more stuff than the Depot.

Skyler and I always go to Lowes, because they are nicer to us, and Skyler thinks the Special Assistance needed announcement is the same tone as the NBC intro on the Today show.

No shit, they are...

Same goes for Costco Vs. Sam's Club.

CostCo = Good.
Sam's Club = Wicked.

Home Depot is such a dump; it's like shopping for tools in my Grandpa's basement. And the people are so cranky. That's why I've boycotted HD. Now that I know they support O'Reilly, I feel less shallow.

I feel such shame. The Depot is closer to me so I have been a regular there...shit.

I really prefer Lowes, and now even more so.

They are building one across the street from the Depot. When it is finished, I intend to convert 100%. Thanks for the info. Now I have even more reason.
