Sleeping Pants...

I can't say enough about these. As important a fashion innovation as the little black dress. The soft caress and soothing toastiness of flannel makes these a wardrobe must for any northerner. For the record, they are NOT pajamas. Pajamas are for women and little kids.

In Ohio people wear these bold fashion statement artifacts to the store...out to eat and even while pumping gas...they are pretty sweet.

Just don't wear them out of the house with Crocs on and you're fine.

I agree, I have seen WAY too many men come to the conclusion that those are bona fide pants, and can be worn out and about.

I suspect you have done the same, Chris. Admit it.

I meant to comment on that. It is not uncommon for me to find people wearing these pants in public (up here, most have been women). I will neither condemn or support this practice. Personally, I prefer to wear them only while at home. If other want to wear them out, that's their business. As for Crocs, I haven't seen people wearing them up here yet, but the pictures I've seen are not flattering.

I wear my sleep pants to do laundry, which means I am sort of wearing them in public as I have to go out of my building and through the alley to get to the laundry room. I think I wore them once to starbucks at 6:00am when I was writing a paper and hadn't been to bed. In general, sleep pants should only be worn in situations where sleep is possible, watching a football game on the televison etc.

I have those. I never sleep in a shirt though. I haven't slept in a shirt since high school. I get knotted into it if I do.
