Last night Carlos Zambrano pitched the first no-hitter by a Chicago Cub since 1972 (the year I was born). Luckily, a friend called to let me know so I could watch the last few outs on ESPN. For some reason it wasn't on WGN up by me.I haven't posted about the Cubs all season. As a lifelong fan of a franchise that hasn't won the World Series since 1908, you are conditioned to always prepare for the worst, but goddamn, last night was pretty fucking nice.

With 2 of the Cubs' starting pitchers coming from our part of the world, BC has climbed on the bandwagon. Go Cubbies!
