Helping GM Turn Things Around...

I think it's high time they brought back the Chevy Monza.

And none of this redesign bullshit. I want it to look just like this.
It's hott!

Ah yes, the Monza. I too am a fan of its numerous sporty features.

I was gonna say I wouldn't own that piece of shit on a bet, but then I read the ad and saw it came with an AM radio.

Now I am sold!!

The Monza was notorious for one fact: you had to remove the engine to get to the spark plugs-- i.e. in order to give it a tune-up. It was not only a bad external design, it was horrendous internally too.

"Actual highway mileage will probably be less than the estimated highway fuel economy".

Can anybody explain this?

Jesus, I would have thought that by 1980 they would be putting AM/FM in cars, but I guess not in a piece of shit like that.

It's a Mon-za by Chevrolet
It's a Mon-za by Chevro-layyyyy!

Damn, I just had the jingle stuck in my head last week! For some odd reason, someone recreated the Monza Spider decal setup on a Nissan Sentra and the flashback of that ad made me lose my train of thought for almost thirty seconds.
