My Weekend...

The happy couple.

I left Friday morning and drove through blizzard-like conditions, all the while questioning the wisdom of an outdoor wedding in November. Fortunately, we were far enough south that the snow didn't touch us. We had a blast. The ceremony and reception were at this old barn. It was an "autumn harvest" theme. There was a live band, a bonfire, lots of liquor (we finished all the beer), and plenty of laughs.

I know I promised some tuxedo pictures, but the one time I asked someone to take a picture of me with the bride and groom, it turned out like this:

Anyway, thanks to Guido & Heidi for a wonderful time. For more details, visit Frank's blog...

That picture makes me feel like I was there and drunk too, what with the blurry vision and all.

Glad you had a good time.

What a good looking couple. I love wedding receptions. I really wish I knew someone who was getting married soon because the last wedding reception I was at I don't remember much of because someone spiked my drink and that's the story I'm sticking to...

You look pretty good when you're fuzzy, Chris.

That looks like a fun wedding. I don't remember the last wedding I went to... I was there, I know I was. And it was fun. I think. Glad you had fun!

just remember that love is grand... BUT a divorce will cost you TEN GRAND.

How much would it cost if we threw a big-ass party like this a few times a year? If everyone coughed up, say, $30 or $50 you could have a reasonably good time with a buncha people. you could rent a hall, dance, drink, eat, drink some more, etc. Just TELL them you're planning a wedding-- it 'ent none o' their damned biz!!

(I feel a blogcake comin' on)
