This is a simple folk art decoy I carved and painted for Megan's parentsfor Christmas. It was fun. I hadn't done one of these in a long time.
I haven't forgotten about the fish I promised some of you. I have a lot of the carving done, but you'll just have to be patient.

Have you ever tooled leather? I'd like to do that also.
VA- It's carved out of basswood, a nice, soft wood for carving. I have not tooled leather, but I have been called a "tool" on occasion.
I love these. Can you add me to the list? I don't mind being last and receiving it when I'm 80. It'll give me something to anticipate.
