Wonder Showzen...

Yes, I know. It's hard to keep up with all my recommendations and it's very possible that I'm behind the times on this one. I had never seen this show until last night. It has all the elements that I look for in comedy: vulgarity, irony, fucking with people, and exploiting taboo subjects for laughs. It's basically the Sesame Street version me and my friends would make if we had control of programming. Here is a sampling of what the show is like:

Clarence, the blue puppet has one goal - to annoy the shit out of whoever he can.

This show definately pushes every envelope it can find. I ended up giving my copy of it to a friend of mine, lest my kids find it, think it's a kid's video and watch it.

Some of it was definately funny, some of it was sick and beyond. My love for puppets usually conquers my feelings for the material. In this case, I was too squicked out to commit to being a fan.

You can check out my dilemma here.

Spot on analysis, Flannery. It definitely pushes the envelope. I mean, the stuff with the letters S & N having sex was a little creepy, no doubt. I always like candid, on the street stuff where people are caught off-guard. Especially with the kids. They expect these cute kids and they're asking them really inappropriate questions.
