I Like Obscure References...

Who knows why I might be prone to say,
"I wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot polecat."
THE ANSWER
Some of you probably know.

Edited to add: Didn't you people ever watch cartoons!?

I don't know why you do that. Then again, I don't know why I call 'instructions' 'destructions', instead.

I saw the B movie classic "Attack of the 10 foot polecats" a while back. It still holds up well...

I thought a polecat was a skunk. Must be a regionalism.

I wouldn't know anything about a polecat, but is the name of your blog an obscure reference? It reminds me of something extremely obscure.

I don't know the reference. That is a picture of a ferret, though. Right?

Where *I* come from, a "polecat" is another name for a skunk. The critter in this photo, however, looks like a weasel. Is this "Some Weasel's Blog?"
