Watch This...

As a very serious person, I don't usually like to promote humorous programming. However, I do have to thank fellow blogger Beckeye for recommending "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia". I have just finished getting myself caught up on the series and it is a fucking riot. If you don't like shows about people with absolutely NO scruples and even less intelligence, you might want to pass on this one. If you like to see taboo subjects tackled head-on and mocked mercilessly, this show is worth your time. You can watch all the episodes free of charge HERE. There is one episode in particular that perfectly encapsulated my comic sensibilities. It's in the fourth season and it's entitled "Who Pooped The Bed?" I won't give anything away, but it has perhaps one of the best endings of anything I've seen in a long, long time. I highly recommend it. Hell, even Megan thought some of it was funny and she hates TV.

I watched all of last season but had to give it up this year. I was getting headaches from having to clean my brain every week after watching.

Okay, I added them to the queue so SV and I can watch together. Plus, I'm anal about watching new series - I have to start from the beginning.

I'll have to check to see if I can watch it On demand.
Thanks for the tip

I watched about a season and a half before letting it drift away. It was funny, but started getting outrageous for outrageous' sake (sorta like Pushing Daisies is quirky for quirky's sake).

I feel like it'd've succeeded better for me as one of those shortlived British series, where they jack you in the face with the funny for maybe 16 episodes and then go away before they get old.

I will take a bow now. Glad I could turn you on to pure goodness.

"Who Pooped The Bed" has my favorite line of any episode so far - when Charlie says, "Oh, dude, there is so much wolf hair in our apartment right now." Just the way he casually tosses that out there is so freaking hilarious. God, I wish Charlie Day wasn't already married so I could marry him. Or at least give him a good stalking.
