Hardrock, Coco, And Joe...

This video is for those of you who grew up with Bozo's Circus on WGN in Chicago. I'm not sure if non-Chicagoans were exposed to it or not. They used to play it every Christmas growing up. Watch it four or five times and tell me the song isn't a fucking JAM (even if it's a little frightening)!

Good Grief. I grew up in the northern 'burbs. I remember Bozo's Circus. I got to be on it twice and got to play the Grand Prize Game once. I hadn't thought of this in years and I can still sing along with it. It's quaint and creepy at the same time.

This song is great. It's so catchy I often find myself singing it on random days in the middle of the summer.

You know, Hardrock Coco and Joe have always popped up in the background, but I never really knew why. Sad, since I've always lived within an hour of Chicago.

I find creepy that chinese santa! And the whole video would be great in a terror movie, this music playing while they are killing the whole family!

I LOVE THAT!! They never showed this in Pittsburgh, but I used to see it when I was in college, in Indiana, PA. I think we got WGN. I remember this one and Suzy Snowflake, which was more girly, but still very enjoyable.

Does Santa have a raging case of pink eye or what?

I am holding you responsible for whatever my actions are when I go nuts from this song being stuck in my head, Chris.
