Get Off My Case...

I happen to think that plain tonic water, ice cold,
with a little lime is refreshing as hell.

It's amazing to me how much this bothers people.

You know what I love? A wine spritzer made with a little dry white or rose, some seltzer, and a squeeze of lime. It's perfect. I can drink it all night long.

But a lot of people think this is unbelievably trashy of me. I'm all, "It's a wine spritzer, not a wine cooler!! There is a world of difference!" But to no avail.

Chris, if I ever drank one in your presence, I bet I could count on you not to judge my spritzer.

What?! That stuff is GREAT!! I drink that shit straight up. Doing so also insures that NO ONE ELSE will drink any of it, and it'll all be MIIINE!!

Besides, now neither one o' us will get malaria.

I wouldn't judge you for your drink choices. Now your use of "refreshing as hell", well that just doesn't make any fucking sense Chris!

Would be fine if you used decent tonic -- Schweppes in stead of that Canada Dry crap (and it's not dry it's too sweet).

awww-I'll pass on this one...I like a good ole regular Coke. That might bother some people too!

All that quinine will make you malaria-proof. That's got to be comforting in Michigan.

I love it too!!! With lots of lime smashed at the bottom of the glass. But the quinine and sugar level started to bother me and I quit. Some folks put a little gin in there - horrors!

I enjoy this same beverage too! Only I like mine with a splash (copious amounts) of gin.
