Duty...

Go on. Say it out loud without laughing.

Can't be done, can it?

I just said it without laughing. I pronounced it in a deeper voice than I usually speak in, and emphasized the "t". I think that helped.

Try it again later, Bubs, and let me know the results.

I can't say sphincter without laughing. You know, in regular, everyday conversation when you're talking about your sphincter...

Nope, can't be done with an American accent. Impossible. If I still had my British accent though, I could do it, "dyoo-tee"

But the American way is far more fun. :-P

One other thing: I've been craving a Toffifay ever since you made fun of them and you know what? Can't find one. Thanks.

That’s it, from now on when I need to drop a deuce I’m gonna’ say:
“pardon me, I must be excused, for duty calls”

It's great when you get all 3 of your little ones laughing at it. Well great for everyone but mommy.

Good morning! It's my DUTY to tell you I was a name dropping fool in my 100-4-100 post, and I mentioned you. (Yes, it's a clever little way to pimp my blog today!) Come on over.

Hahahhahaaa, this is hilarious because Mr Belle and I always laugh whenever Americans say this on TV. We're like Beavis & Butthead - "heh heh doody heh heh"

(Being from Australia, we pronounce it as Cora in her British days - dyoo-tee.)
