What Ever Happened To...
What ever happened to Mindy Cohn? She played the frumpy, spunky Natalie throughout the entire run of Fact Of Life, including, I believe, any and all reunion shows that followed. Mindy was an anomaly. She proved that you could flourish in primetime despite a weight problem and an appearance deficit. Not only that, as I recall, she was the first of the Eastland girls to make whoopie. Now, you may think that I'm being cruel. Not at all. I applaud her for overcoming the unwritten rules of Hollywood. She was a pioneer. In today's unforgiving climate, where you have to be rail-thin with a flawless face and perfect breasts, she wouldn't even warrant a second look. Hats off to you, Mindy, wherever you are!

If my memory serves correctly, she and her boyfriend didn't actually have intercourse. They settled on a BJ and a little bit of assplay. Ms. Garrett wouldn't have had it any other way.
I believe she was on one of those celeb-reality weightloss bootcamp shows recently.
What I never understood is why they put her hair in those pigtails. She already had enough going against her, did she need "bad hair" as well?
I used to wait on her regularly while working at the Maggiano's in L.A. Evidently she does alot of voice work. She was always polite, gracious and tipped generously.
I see her on the 38 Geary Limited bus in the mornings on the way to work. I saw her today in fact. When I first saw her I wasn't sure it was her and then I heard her talking to someone about what she'd been doing behind the scenes in TV these days.
The 38 Geary Limited bus in San Francisco, CA that is.
